Gutchess Lumber has been in the lumber business since 1904 and is still a family run business today. Their core values are integral to who they are, how they work, how they interact and approach their operations, processes & standards to ensure they deliver a high quality lumber product. Their existing website needs to work harder for them, both communicating a stronger brand story, to help differentiate & legitimize their high quality lumber and strong service offering, and also to be more customer-centric in order to attract and educate new prospects.
See attached wireframes for page layout/elements. Gutchess core values include: “Superior lumber, world class timber” Dedication; passion; pride in their work Attention to detail Strong customer experience Tradition; history; community Please capture these traits when designing the new site.
Clean, traditional design Spacious, easy user experience/easy to navigate Design with mobile in mind, preferably something that can be coded into a responsive website using Bootstrap
What to avoid
Designs that do not follow this list will be automatically disqualified. All elements from wireframes must be included and in same order as the wireframes. (There is freedom of style of these elements, but not the position of where they belong and in what order). No additional elements that were not specified in wireframes (elements within content areas are ok, example: styling a graph within the pages content is ok). Use colour palette provided in attachments. Follow navigation items listed below/in wireframes. Images must be from what we have attached or at very least related to the company.
