Guillermo is one of the most timely, diligent, and talented designers I have ever worked with. He carefully read my brief and delivered everything I asked to be included in our project. He was very fun and easy to work with and didn't question me when I asked for revisions. I would be more than happy to work with him again and highly recommend him to colleagues and friends.

Great job done and great designer to work with.
He worked hard, communicated well, and designed a few more pages than was required. Extremely satisfied.

How kmiller h started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Explore St. Charles County
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Explore St. Charles County is a website designed to promote events, features, restaurants, sporting events and more in St. Charles County, Missouri to 20-40 year olds. The audience for the site is current residents, St. Louis regional residents and area visitors with a goal of ultimately encouraging them to live, work and play in St. Charles County.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We want a clean, simple but contemporary site. Easy to navigate but with a bit of an edge. Love a darker looking site but still with lots of colors from the photos, etc. A dominant image/slideshow is ideal. Simple menu but with chunky, clickable stories/features on the home page.
Once we receive a design from you, we will be tweaking the code behind the template to fit our personalized design.
- Logo: we do not have one yet, so please use a text placeholder.
Home Page which would introduce the County, have some features, could contain a map or social media feed, menu system highlighting : Events; Night Life; Restaurants; Wineries & Breweries; Sports & Rec.
The Secondary Pages would go in depth in each one of the categories. High lighting a few features, perhaps a navigable list of the options to learn more info about, etc.
The events page that would feature both a generic calendar that people could navigate to make long-term plans. And then 2 weeks of features with an image and blurb of each event to go more in depth for those who want to make last minute plans.
A map page that would feature popular places to visit, things to see, places to eat/shop, things to do, etc. It would be great if the icons would be clickable and more info comes up.
What to avoid
Not cluttered. Less is more. Making the site too kid-like. Needs to be fun, hip, contemporary, clean!
We would like to communicate a clear brand. Something that we could use that image or style in other aspects of our marketing for the site (business cards, letterhead, shirts, etc).
