The designer was very attentive to instructions and completed tasks in a timely matter. I would use him again. Thanks!
Great, hard working artist. Thanks!
Loved our collaboration. Really responsive and accepting of feedback. Would happily work on future designs with them!
How dlsarah started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Yamhill Enrichment Society is the full name of our non-profit, but we often go by the acronym YES. It would be great if both could be incorporated into the design.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Yamhill Enrichment Society (YES) is non-profit serving citizens of Yamhill County, Oregon. YES’s mission is to cultivate cultural enrichment at the community level with carefully selected projects in arts & education, food & agriculture, history & community.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We have a brand new logo which is much more vibrant and modern, but does a great job of reflecting our mission. This should inform the design.
We are looking for a HOME PAGE Design. We currently have 6 active projects. I would like a featured call out/carousel area that could include image and text for each project. I would like to be able to rotate through the six projects in this area. Please will be able to click on image and be directed to an individual project page for more information for more. information. I would also like to see graphic call outs for <Volunteer>, <Email sign up>, <Donate>, <News>, <Like us (on Facebook)>. I love the way Alliance for Africa handles this. A little text about who we are: Enriching the soul of Yamhill County with carefully selected projects in arts & education, food & agriculture, history & community. Some of the navigation will be drop downs. TOP LEVEL NAVIGATION is : About YES, Our PROJECTS, NEWS + EVENTS, Can I HELP?
What to avoid
I don't want pastels!
When we did our logo contest - - this is how we described our desired
look/feel: create a logo for cultural non-profit in a foodie/rural
county that is both vintage + sophisticated + professional. I think
the logo does a good job. One of our marquee projects is Bounty of
Yamhill County which went through a complete rebranding last year
(logo + website). See http://www.bountyofyamhillcounty.com. We love
I just uploaded wireframes of the home page (Yamhill Enrichment
Society.pdf). Feel free to be creative with these elements, but this
is what we are looking for interns of content. Please DO NOT take
inspiration from current website.
