Real Estate & Mortgage
Realty Weston is selling a $4-million $5-million dollar home in the north east of the United States.
This is a new website to show case a luxury home. The house just went on the market
http://www.aubergedusoleil.com/ http://www.aubergedusoleil.com/napa-weddings-and-events/weddings - good layout, elegant, the website communicates the essence of upscale living. The pages load very quickly. http://www.relaischateaux.com/spip.php?page=home&lang=en The Relais & Chateau website is the cornerstone of upscale, wealthy living. Everything from the fonts to the page layout to the feel of the site communicates upper class living. http://www.charlotteinn.net/brochure.htm The Charlotte Inn Website does not use photographs, but instead, transforms the photographs of the property into oil-painting-like pictures, that evoke an emotion of a cozy bed and breakfast. This oil-painting treatment on the photos communicates visually that this property is a story-book like fairy tale of a home. This effect works very well.
Website (home page ONLY for qualifying phase) needed to showcase a new client's home: All text throughout the entire site is planned to be rendered as HTML text, NOT text created as a graphic. The home is being "positioned" as "The Lantern Manor" because it is a "mansion" or "manor" located on a street named "Lantern Lane." Images of lanterns or a single elegant lantern should be incorporated into the header or graphical treatment of every page. The "concept" that is being used in throughout the website is a "story book" or "fairy tale" theme -- some sort of fairy-tale story board motif should carry throughout every page of the website. You may wish to include the following sorts of visual symbolism as faded background images: horse drawn carriage, a fancy dress party, a winter cabin with a chimney smoke, children playing at a garden party, etc. Home Page: Multi-frame that includes an animated Gif of the exterior or interior of the home. These photographs should be half the actual/real photograph, and half a treatment of the original photo that looks as though it was rendered as an oil painting (this is to evoke a story-book/fairy tale feeling to the home), Also, there should be an embedded YouTube video player below the picture to stream a video of the home from YouTube without requiring the website visitor to load another page to view the video. This page (and the entire website) should communicate wealth, regal elegance, upscale living and should include room for 500 to 1,000 words of text Photo gallery page: Thumbnail gallery of photographs with text below each photograph describing the name of the room, e.g., "living room," "kitchen" etc. "Photographs" page: After someone clicks on a thumbnail, a "photographs" page template must load into a new HTML page that includes a large-sized version of the photograph and space on that page for text describing that individual photograph. Each photograph must also be rendered with a treatment that makes one half of the photograph appear to be an oil painting. "About The Home" page: A page of text embedded with medium sized versions of only some of the photos, throughout the text. This page template may include "next page" links on the bottom of the page to load the next page of this template where the narrative is continued. It is important that every page of this site be very fast loading so be sure that each page is not too long or that the photos are not too large on this page. "Videos" page: This page should include graphical thumbnails of embedded videos of the home from YouTube. When clicked, a new web page will be launched that includes the embedded video player and room for 250 to 500 words of text that describes the video.
HOME PAGE DESIGN - ONLY - For the qualifying phase of the contest. The winning design will successfully communicate the romance, story-book/fairy tale theme intended by the realtor to position the home as a romantic, family oriented bed and breakfast style of home. An emphasis on upscale elegance in font, layout and design, consistent with the examples I have provided. There are two examples / links provided of sites that are perfect in look and feel -- please review them carefully.
