Woodlook is a new concept in wooden furniture for high traffic areas such as casinos, airport cafes and places where furniture is likely to get really heavy treatment. conventional wooden chairs in these environments don't usually last very long and metal furniture doesnt have the warm appearance of wood so Sandler Seating have developed Woodlook. Woodlook looks authenticallly like wooden furniture but it is manufactured from aluminium and is extremely strong. The product is so authentic looking that you cant really tell it isnt real wood until you touch it. We have tested it to US BIFMA standards and it passes the highest level of strength testing. We have also scratch tested it to 1000 abrasion cycles and it doesnt show any signs of scratching. Additional features is that the furniture can be used outdoors and we can even produce custom designs for customers. The aluminium is also recyclable. Now here is the marketing problem...the product looks so authentic that when people see our advertisements or chairs at a trade show they just think its another collection of wood chairs and dont get too excited. It's only when we get a chance to demonstrate the features that customers go wild about it (and they really do). So we have to get the message across in a very unsubtle way (without being tacky about it) Our customers are often interior designers and restuarant owners.
