Cosmetics & Beauty
We sell high quality CBD oils and topicals that actually work.
We want the feel and softness of the design almost identical to feals.com. Vibe: Soft and calming, sophisticated, urban audience, dynamic, slick, exclusive, organic, natural. Words: bliss, calm, relief, sleep, arousal, passion, nature, healing, relax, stress relief, peace, recreational. Customer motivations: relaxation, stress relief, hype, experimentation, mild recreation, well-being, natural remedy. Identity: quality, credible, responsible, ethical, altruistic capitalists, universal, optimistic, masculine, assertive. What we stand for: reconnecting with our body, anti-pharmaceutical, natural cures, improving quality of life. Colors: black, white, beige, blue, amber, charcoal grey, orange for CTAs Beige = softness/craft Blue = harmony, trust Black = sophistication White = purity, zen Example: We want the color scheme identical to feals.com. So the blue is a light blue, there is no black, etc. Customer profiles: entrepreneurs, career-minded, fitness enthusiasts, artists, celebrities Gender: 60-70% male, 30-40% female Similar brands: Feals.com Design direction: sophisticated, convey authority. calming, assertively healthy, natural. Website design: Images used only to illustrate a point or convey message and emotion. Keep everything bite-sized. The experience should feel like a mobile-app UX - smooth, airy, highly engaging. Logo should appear; On the Nav Footer Any product/advertising Challenge Pivot the brand into visibility among a competitive space and encourage high click-through-rate and conversion rates. Voice The user is a real person, and not just site traffic. We should create as if we’re talking rather than writing an essay, then we’re speaking to a human. Speak to someone, not at them. Approach Storytelling in a cultural context means bringing to life a product via compelling content. UX (User Experience) Strategy A slick (like mobile app) style design. Plain colors, evocative content (brand to life, emotive) and product benefits, upfront. Customer Experience Sophisticated simplicity. CBD appeals to a wide audience, (21-60 for e.g.) so big brand e-commerce optimization (such as Apple, Beats, Health-Ade) ensures a customer focused UX. Branding Consistently convey the key themes visually (Design, Copy). Modular (site structure) that’s original to us, embracing minimalism and flexibility. Content/Commerce Content is commerce. Content makes or breaks a brand. Copy or Social Media content (for e.g.) is a driver of user intent, therefore part of the brand. All content created is an extension of the core message. Tech/Logistics Operational use of emails, site layouts, components and external use (incl. clients and affiliates). Systems of site components should be (easily) replicated for flexible use in new content or marketing campaigns. Audience 25% Millennial men and 15% Gen X men. Overall market share around 40% of males in the US. Primarily West Coast (Coastal Cities in general) and major hot spots like NYC, Miami and Austin. The 30% that spend $80-160 (and $160+). Most likely married or in a relationship, but a decent career ($70-100k) and interested in spending the money only if it works. Has some sleep problems, occasional stress or anxiety, and is “conscious”, despite being an urbanite and dynamic. Improving overall wellbeing by avoiding harder stuff. Wants to avoid useless products (like Hemp) and cuts through the bullshit. University degree, works in some kind of tech, marketing or creative area. Likely leans left politically, but not politically motivated, and probably high in trait openness. Buys into a brand that is functional as well as exclusive. SoulSome solves his sleep problem or stress, while making his money go further with quality (avoiding shit products) and social signaling his favorite brands.
