They wanted a clean, professional looking flyer that they could post on their website.
Because it is a tourism industry, I felt a photograph would make an excellent eye-catching header, with the benefits arranged in easy to read bulleted lists below.
There were two flyers made, this one for Active members in a blue color scheme to match their logo, and another one for Associate members in a red color scheme to match the logo used for that member type. The Associate Member flyer also uses a different photograph. (Both photographs provided by the client)")

The new PHP7 introduces a \"spaceship\" operator <=> (looks like a Tie-Fighter!) so I went with a rocket theme and clouds for the background and to use as highlights or call-outs for the factoids.")

Because \"Numbers Sometimes Say More Than Words\" they are looking for an eye-catching graphic that can be sent out to members whereby the member simply clicks on the number or box and be taken to the full article. As requested I incorporated their logo colors and included both complimentary and contrasting colors to highlight the different items. They wanted a box-top layout. I used the numbers as the key items to grab the eye (and reader's attention).")

The goal was to appeal to young adults with a STEM degree in a manner so that they could quickly see the information.
I used a color scheme provided and went with a clean, simple approach outlining the 5 steps separately. I used cartoon-style characters to give it a slightly fun look while keeping the design still polished and professional looking.")

Ultimately the client wanted more detail describing the process of putting a strapped cedar roof on a home in order to demonstrate the extensive amount of materials and work that goes into it.")

I love a good, clean design. I enjoy photography, cartography, demography, and geography! I dabble in web design and development, but truly the design part is where I feel the most comfortable. With today's wide array of software available, anyone can create a flyer, a logo, or just about anything, but it takes a creative eye and knowledge of the right tools to make a GREAT flyer, logo, or other graphic design piece. My passion is for helping others achieve GREATness in their design pieces.
