I somehow wanted the logo to have the feel of Czech.
As the client mentioned I have kept the ABC prominent.
I studied some of the most famous search engine logos… and decided that I don’t really want to put any magnifying glass or an eye or anything else to signify the ‘search’ element of search engine. So just plain text, precise, readable, timeless.
Because typography plays an important role here, I did a lot of research in selecting which font to be used. I compiled logos, advertisements and even postal stamps from Czech to understand which font style is popular in the country and then i looked for similar fonts.
The logos presented here are completely different from the previous logo, and portrays a new era for the company effectively.
However the blue is from the previous logo, and for the .cz version I have combined it with a red inspired from the Czech flag.")
